The Greater Orlando Baptist Association serves as a resource and support hub to the churches, communities, church support ministries and leadership – both pastoral and laity – for the four county area encompassing the GOBA Central Florida Network of Churches.
By utilizing a multi-faceted focus and multi-dimensional approach, we are able to provide opportunities for growth, development, encouragement, guidance and support to both ministry groups and individuals.

Preaching/Pulpit Supply/Teaching/
Ministry Support
- Your executive director, church planting director, and other pastors and ministers in our association are available to assist when needed for preaching, mission conferences and teaching special studies at your church.
- Assistance to new churches
- Financial support and guidance for church planters
- Assistance to Baptist Campus Ministries at UCF, RC, and VCC.
Support to the Local Church Leadership, Committees & Ministry Teams
GOBA and the CFNC provides:
- Coaching and mentoring for pastors and staff members
- Assistance with conflict mediation and resolution
- Guidance for churches during pastoral transition & changeover
- Training for the pastor search process and assistance with interim pastor support
- Organizational leadership training and support
- Other help with church-related issues
- Church Renewal
Training Opportunities
- Annual Vacation Bible School Workshop for directors and teachers
- Annual Church Profile Training each August to equip church ministry assistants and clerks to complete annual reporting data
- Specialty conferences for individual churches– small groups, Sunday School, ministry leadership, committee leadership, financial administration, deacon ministry, age group ministry training, evangelism training and more – all tailored to the specific needs of a specific church
- Church Revitalization, Church Planting, and Leadership Development Trainings
Cohorts & Peer Groups
- Pastor Prayer Zoom Groups– pastors meet in regional groups monthly for prayer and fellowship via Zoom Meetings
- Church Revitalization- pastors who desire to bring renewal to their church meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month to learn and sharpen skills to bring renewal.
- Church Planters– pastors of recent church plants meet together for fellowship and prayer on the 1st Thursday of every month
- Church Ministry Assistants Fellowship– a gathering of ministry assistants for fellowship, growth and learning (New in 2020)
