Church Revitalization Training

The Church Revitalization Assistance Team of the Greater Orlando Baptist Association in conjunction with the Renovate National Church Revitalization Conference provides monthly coaching for pastors and lay church leaders on issues relating to Church Revitalization and Renewal. This training is designed to be a safe place for leaders to ask the hard questions and seek useful answers to assist as the local church begins its journey towards revitalization. This leadership lab mirrors the Renovate Church Revitalization Virtual Coaching Network. It meets the third Thursday of every month except in December.

Our goal in this one day workshop is to set you on the path for a transformational encounter with Jesus. This is the model for all ministry leaders and church members. The days, interaction is designed to help participants learn how to lead like Jesus led. It focuses on the: Heart of a Servant Leader, The Head of a Servant Leader, The Hands of a Servant Leader, and the Habits of a Servant Leader. Learn, relate and grow in Jesus’ Servant Leadership model. Experience based process patterning key areas of leadership on Jesus’ servant leadership model.  Used for Peer Learning group launch or as a full day event.

So You Think You Are Called

Utilizing the book, Is God Calling Me? by Dr. Jeff Lorg (President of Golden Gate Seminary), we will explore the foundational truths and myths concerning the call to ministry leadership, an issue many believers wrestle with at least one time during their lifetime.

Changing Your Church’s Culture for Renewal

When pastors enter new ministry positions, they often find a conflict between what they hope will occur and what the congregation is ready for. This is often because of the fact that the pastor’s culture does not match the culture of the congregation and/or the community in which he serves. This training event is designed for lay church leadership and staff and works best on a Saturday morning or in a retreat setting.
