Tax Update

This seminar empowers church leadership (pastor, business administrator, treasurer, financial secretary, finance chairman, personnel chairman) with competent instruction about changes to the U.S. tax code and recent U.S. Tax Court rulings that impact churches and church type organizations related to tax withholding, document reporting to the government and record retention responsibilities. Participants will receive instruction regarding charitable contribution substantiation of cash and non-cash gifts given to a 501(c) (3) non-profit, charitable church-type organization

Developing and Promoting Your Church’s Budget

This consultation is based on exploring the steps to effective church ministry budgeting. Several resources will be avaiable during the consult. Samples and forms of effective budgets will be provided. A portion of this consultation will focus on how to design staff salary packages. This is a great experiece for those within the church who are responsible for developing all phases of the church budget.

How to Implement Church Staff Annual Review

What is not inspected receives no attention. Therefore this workshop is designed to help those who need to implement staff reviews as well as leading staff to learn how to work together towards the common good of the church. Besides providing useable samples of staff reviews electronically, discussion will consider strong staff as well as staff which might need to be let go. Most support staff dislikes annual reviews, but in a culture of growth it is a much-needed part.
